A few years ago I had an offer on my Business which got me exited until I met with my CPA and he explained about the capital gains taxes and such. This made me, Charlie Corey realize that I may not be able to live in the style that I always envisioned. I kept thinking there has to be a way to supplement my retirement. Well, being a small business person who is already in the consumer energy business, I couldn’t see how I, Charlie Corey, could lose with a company like Ambit Energy backing me up with their superior energy services. Ambit Energy holds an annual conference called Ambition. So I decided I had to go and meet the people behind this company in person. The people I met and the attitude of the management of Ambit Energy left me totally convinced this company is here to stay. When Mr. Jere Thompson Jr. and Mr. Chris Chambless said their vision was to be the “Finest and most Respected retail Energy Provider in the Country”, not the biggest - but the most respected, this told me a lot about this company. Ambit Energy and the people I met reminded me about the ideals that my father instilled in me. And I cannot remember how many times I heard at Ambition "Integrity before Growth". Boy did they ever do a number on that one. They want to build a solid and lasting foundation first and then they know the growth will follow. This is why I know this is the vehicle that I have been looking for, something that will let me retire and spend time with the grandchildren.

This company is the answer to my “WHY?” Everyone needs a WHY in their life - something that drives them to accomplish their goals.
